  2. Hello, and thank you for trying CRYPTOGRAMMER!

  4. CRYPTOGRAMMER takes a no-nonsense approach to this very popular word
  5. puzzle.  CRYPTOGRAMMER makes best use of the computer's ability to store
  6. data and do repetitive tasks.  Perhaps the most frustrating part of manual
  7. solving of cryptograms is the initial trial-and-error process, usually
  8. requiring several passes of filling in letters, then erasing them and 
  9. trying others.  CRYPTOGRAMMER removes that nuisance work, and allows you
  10. to focus on the puzzle instead of the pencil.  In addition, CRYPTOGRAMMER
  11. provides a handy set of tools, to tally letter and word frequencies in
  12. your cryptogram, and provides reference lists of letter and word frequencies
  13. in common English.

  26. To get started, just type CRPTGRAM at the DOS prompt.  On-line help and an
  27. intuitive interface will help you along the way.  For detailed information
